Content coverage
Content coverage checks whether the pages your sitemap lists actually load and can be reached, and whether the pages found are distinct rather than near copies of each other. A sitemap full of broken or duplicate pages sends crawlers in the wrong direction.

Reading the result
What good looks like, and what a problem looks like.
Good
Sitemap addresses load, the listed pages can be reached, and their titles and headings are distinct.
Not measured
When this cannot be checked, the result says so and leaves it out of the score. Unknown is not zero.
Typical problems
- Sitemap addresses that do not load.
- Few of the listed pages can be reached from the site.
- Several pages share the same title.
What it cannot prove
- It looks at part of a large site, not every page, and says so when it stops early.
