Delivery and transport
Delivery and transport checks how your page is served: secure HTTPS, a successful status, no redirect chains, compression, caching and a sound connection over both IPv4 and IPv6. A page that fails to load for a crawler cannot be read at all.

Reading the result
What good looks like, and what a problem looks like.
Good
A secure, direct, successful answer that is compressed and cacheable, the same over IPv4 and IPv6.
Not measured
When this cannot be checked, the result says so and leaves it out of the score. Unknown is not zero.
Typical problems
- The page is not served over HTTPS.
- The page answers with an error.
- The page fails over IPv6, so clients that connect that way cannot load it.
What it cannot prove
- It looks at how the page is served to one request. It does not test your site under real traffic.
