Mobile readiness
Mobile readiness checks the signs in your page's code that it is built for phones: a mobile viewport, zoom left enabled, no fixed widths wider than a phone and images that adapt to the screen. Phone readiness has long been part of how search engines judge pages.

Reading the result
What good looks like, and what a problem looks like.
Good
A mobile viewport, zoom enabled, a layout that fits a phone, and adaptive images.
Not measured
When this cannot be checked, the result says so and leaves it out of the score. Unknown is not zero.
Typical problems
- No mobile viewport.
- Zoom is disabled.
- Elements wider than a phone screen.
What it cannot prove
- It reads the code, not a real device. A page can pass and still be hard to use on a phone.
